Product Engineer
Tispa Medical is a young and innovative company with a revolutionary technique to improve working conditions and efficiency in Pathology Laboratories. Tispa Medical was founded to develop a patented invention by the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG) into a commercial Medical Device.
Traditionally this application requires the use of toxic organic solvents. Our innovation uses harmless CO2 (carbon dioxide) to completely avoid using organic solvents. Of course, the CO2 is reclaimed from industry and does not contribute to increased atmospheric CO2 levels.
The production of machines and the sales has now started. As an addition to our team, we are looking for a Product Engineer.
Job description:
The Product Engineer is responsible for the service support and the constant improvement of the Tispa technology and machines. You a play an active part in the ongoing development of the processing technology to expand and improve our line of processing machines. This will also include handling of customer questions, trouble shooting, installation and service. The Product Engineer will assist in setting up a maintenance systems.
Tispa is a small starting organization and looks for individuals who can rely on their own initiative and take on multi task responsibilities.
Tasks:
Carry out service and installation activities (world wide)
Assist with development and improvement test and experiments
Coordinate and advice on the service and maintenance system
Requirements :
University Degree (MSc / BSc) in Process / Mechanical Engineering or similar
Experience in laboratory or fine mechanical industry.
Knowledge of QA and compliance systems
Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
