Tispa Medical was founded by a number of partners.

Feyecon D&I BV (www.feyecon.com), a development company, strongly connected to the Technical University of Delft and specialized in innovative CO2 applications, in most cases to offer a sustainable alternative for traditional organic solvent processes.

The University Medical Center Groningen (www.umcg.nl), where the idea arose to use supercritical CO2 to replace the intermediate clearing agent step in histo-processing.

The RUG Houdstermaatschappij BV (www.holding.rug.nl) (University Groningen Holding) together with her two venture investment funds Kennis Conversie Fonds (www.holding.rug.nl/kennisconversie) and Noord Tech Venture (www.holding.rug.nl/northtech) have as a target to stimulate scientific technological development and to offer assistance in bringing promising developments to market.
