CO2 and the environment
Increased CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere are a recognised concern.
However, CO2 is at the same time an indispensable component without which life on Earth would not be possible. The air around us contains some 0.05% CO2. Every living organism produces CO2. For example, the air we exhale has a CO2 concentration of around 4%. The environmental effect is (supposedly) caused by increasing CO2 concentrations attributable to the fast depletion of fossil fuel reserves.
The CO2 used in the Tispa Medical application is the same CO2 used in soda water, fire extinguishers and controlled atmosphere food packaging. This CO2 is NOT produced, but recovered from industrial processes and does NOT contribute to increased atmosphere concentrations.
