• Erasmus MC makes a statement in reducing use of toxic solvents

  With the installation of the first Tispa Processor in their pathology laboratory, the Erasmus MC takes an important step in eliminating the use of toxic solvents.

• HiTek Workshop Erasmus MC

  On May 16 Tispa Medical will actively participate in the workshop organised by the Dutch branche organisation FHI. The workshop is sub-titled:
  Diagnostics in pathology - Roadmap to the future.
  The workshop features scientific introductions by Prof. Dr. R.R. de Krijger of Erasmus Medical Centre on practical experiences of the pathologist tissue diagnosis, with an emphasis on streamlining the workflow.
  Sanbio BV will inform us on developments of Biotech companies to new developments in pathology, mainly on moleclar research.
  Dr. E. Schuuring of the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG) will elaborate on the scientific side of molecular pathology.

• Dutch Pathology days Zeist

  The Dutch Pathology days, 'Pathologendagen', will be held this year on April 14 and 15 in the beautiful venue of Hotel Figi in Zeist.
  Tispa Medical will participate as sponsor to promote and introduce the Tispa Processor I. This processor is the first in the world to eliminate the toxic and dangerous so-called 'clearing phase' in tissue processing with a patented application of harmless CO2 (carbon dioxide).

• Voorjaarscongres VAP

  Op zaterdag 26 maart vond het voorjaarscongres van de VAP, de Vereniging van Analisten in de Pathologie, plaats in Ermelo.
  Tispa Medical gaf hier acte de présence met de presentatie van Tispa Processor I. Deze processor is de eerste ter wereld die de toxische en gevaarlijke zogenaamde 'clearing phase' in de weefseldoorvoer geheel overbodig maakt door innovatief gebruik van CO2, kooldioxide.

• Clinical validation successful

  In January 2011 the clinical validation of the Tispa Processor I was completed successfully.
  A complete test cycle, in compliance with the Medical Device Directive IVDD 98/76 EC, was performed in the pathology lab of the UMCG (University Medical Centre Groningen).
  The Tispa Processor I is now an IVD compliant Medical Device and available to all pathology laboratories.
  Tispa Medical rapid processing - safe, clean and fast. No xylene or other organictoxic solvents. Ethanol - CO2 - paraffin, that's it, that's all.

• US Patent awarded

  Tispa Medical is proud to announce that the solvent free and fast histological processing method is now patented in the United States. This opens promising opportunities for expansion of the company.
